You can’t go a day without someone mentioning Twitter and the mini social community is slowly taking over the world, 140 characters at a time.

So, it’s no suprise Twitter T shirts are becoming popular and if you really can’t go day without Twitter, how about this ‘I Twitter on the Shitter’ T Shirt, available from Chargrilled.

For birds who tweet (obvious pun intended), there’s the ‘For Twits Sake’ T shirt available through Spreadshirt for just £12.90.

Over in the US of A, mighty T Shirt site, Threadless.com have launched Twitter Tees.

Basically, any tweet can be submitted and users can then vote for their favourite tweet and this then will make it onto a T Shirt.

As mentioned on Mashable, it could be the start of something big between Twitter and Threadless - who knows?

Guinness World Record for most T Shirts worn at once

There’s pretty much a Guinness World Record for everything, so there’s no real suprise that there’s a world record for somebody wearing the most t shirts at one time.

The world record was held by Matt McAllister from Phoenix, Arizona, who managed to squeeze on a massive 155 t shirts which took over 4 hours to do!

Matt’s T Shirts went from size small to a whopping 10XL and he gained an extra 100 pounds in weight - over 7 stone for us Brits or 45kg in new money!

Here’s Matt’s Guiness World Record Attempt:

As the saying goes, records are their to be broken and Charlie Williams decided that he’d be the man who break the ‘Most T Shirts at Once’ record.
On the 14th of September 2007, Charlie Williams wore a record breaking 224 T Shirts to smash the previous world record of 155.

In just over a year though, Charlie’s dreams were shattered when a Swede from T Shirt Store leapfrogged him and went into in the Guinness World Record book with an astonishing 237 tshirts worn at once!

The facts: 237 T Shirts, Size Small to 6XL, Weight Gain: 50Kg

So for now, the World Record for the Most T Shirts Worn at Once remains in Sweden. Anyone up for giving it a go?

I Wear Your Shirt - Novel idea for T Shirts

Jason Sadler had a brainwave one day and decided to wear a companies T Shirt each and every day and post up the pictures on Twitter, YouTube etc.

He would charge the companies using quite a unique pricing structure, effectively making him a walking billboard.

For the I Wear Your Shirt project, Sadler started it on January 1st and charged the first company $1, then $2 on January and so on until December 31st, where it would cost you $365.

He’s now completely sold out for 2009, making him almost $70,000 in the process, just for wearing T Shirts.  Genius or what?!

For 2010, Jason and his I Wear Your Shirt project are hoping to double up literally and there’s now of them sporting your T Shirts.  His 2010 calendar was only launched days ago and already has sold out each day until the end of March.

Nice one Jason - I just wish I’d have thought of it!
